Apple announced iOS17 during WWDC this year, and it has now been officially available for the public to download for a month. It comes with a range of groundbreaking features, including the ability to turn your Live Photos into Live Stickers (as well as photos) and in this blog, I’m going to teach you how to turn your Live Photos into Live Stickers.
How to turn your Live Photos into stickers
To turn your Live Photos into Live Stickers, the first thing you have to do is to open the Messages App.
Open a message you want to send to someone, and after you find someone you’d like to send a message to, tap the + button at the bottom on the left hand side of where you would normally type your message.
A range of options will come up, including the option to open your camera, to send photos, stickers, audio, your location services and more, and since this blog is all about Live Stickers, you’ll want to tap the Stickers option.
If you haven’t created a Live Sticker before, you’ll have to tap a small bowl icon.
A new option saying “New Sticker” will then come up, and all you’ll have to do then is to tap that option. Your photo library will then come up.
You can choose any Live Photo you want, then after you choose one, just tap “next”. A range of options will then come up that allows you to change the effect of your sticker, but if you don’t want to add an effect, you can just hit “done”.
Your Live Sticker will now be available amongst your other stickers and you can find it any time you want.
